The screenshot above shows something that was definitely needed and thanks to the high resolution texture pack has been improved. If you look at the default texture on ladders you will find the side rails like this are very poorly detailed. The steps are more detailed than the side rails. Well this high resolution texture pack helps to improve the sides of the ladders here adding greater wood grain detail. You will also notice in the same image that the high resolution texture pack is improving the wood grain on the edge of the concrete blocks.

At this distance you cannot see any change there, even though image quality is better at this distance it just doesn't show up until you walk over close to it.
