1. May 16, 2013  I acquired a K98 yesterday that has import markings by CAI. I am new to the Mausers having collected only M1 and M1 carbine rifles and a couple of 1903 rifles. I need help just understanding what I have. The receiver has byf 41, which I found to be Mauser-Werke KG, Oberndorf on the Neckar and I guess made in 1941.
